Associate Consultant - Procurement Engagement

What you will do

• Receive and review internal procurement requests for completeness, accuracy, documentation, budget information, and policy alignment.
• Route and prioritize requests for sourcing, procurement, risk, legal, and business stakeholders, escalating exceptions when needed.
• Collaborate with Sourcing, Category Management, Third-Party Risk, Procurement Operations, and business unit stakeholders.
• Verify compliance with procurement policies, intake requirements, and Third-Party Risk standards.
• Document recurring issues and support process improvement, standardization, and buying channel alignment.
• Maintain request data and support reporting on volumes, compliance rates, response times, SLA performance, and processing cycle times.

Requirements

• Foundational knowledge of procurement processes, buying and payment channels, vendor risk management standards, and Source-to-Pay systems.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel.
• Attention to detail, time management, follow-through, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain Management, Finance, Operations, or a related field, or equivalent education and experience.
• At least 2 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, supply chain, finance, operations, vendor management, or related business functions.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future employment-based visa sponsorship.

Nice to have

• Experience with ERP systems, procurement intake tools, or PeopleSoft.
• Professional procurement or supply chain designation or related coursework.
• Experience providing basic training and support on procurement intake processes and tools.
