Bathroom Remodeling Apprentices (Acrylic Baths)

Location: Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, United States; on-site

Salary: $22–$24 per hour starting rate, plus performance-based bonus opportunities.

P.J. Fitzpatrick provides residential bathroom remodeling services, including acrylic bath and shower system installations.

What you will do

• Assist experienced installers with residential bathroom remodeling projects involving acrylic baths and shower systems.
• Safely remove existing tubs, showers, and surrounding materials while protecting customers’ homes.
• Measure, cut, and install acrylic wall systems, tubs, shower bases, trim, and accessories under supervision.
• Transport tools and materials, operate hand and power tools safely, and maintain clean vehicles and work areas.
• Assist with basic plumbing adjustments, carpentry, finishing work, and installation quality checks.
• Communicate professionally with homeowners, attend training, and collaborate with installers to complete projects on schedule.

Requirements

• Strong interest in construction and home improvement; no prior experience is required.
• Ability to follow instructions and work effectively in a team environment.
• Physical ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
• Good math skills for measurements and calculations.
• Strong communication skills and a customer-service focus.
• Willingness to work overtime or weekends as needed.
