Principal Engineer I - Copilot Studio Administration & Operational Support (AI)

Location: Dallas/Irving, Texas, United States; onsite full-time role. Occasional travel is required.

What you will do

• Establish governance standards, development frameworks, operational procedures, and guardrails for Microsoft Copilot Studio and Power Platform.
• Define controls for agent environments, solutions, connectors, plugins, prompts, knowledge sources, testing, logging, deployment, and lifecycle management.
• Partner with Enterprise Architecture, Information Security, Risk, Legal, and Compliance teams to review solutions and meet banking regulatory requirements.
• Create reference architectures, design patterns, reusable templates, implementation standards, support models, and operational runbooks for agentic AI solutions.
• Implement Responsible AI controls covering monitoring, evaluation, content safety, data protection, transparency, human oversight, and output quality.
• Serve as the primary Copilot Studio subject matter expert, mentor engineers and architects, and lead communities of practice and technical training.

Requirements

• 8+ years of related professional experience and a required bachelor's degree in a related field; a master's degree or MBA is preferred.
• Advanced knowledge of intelligent automation, including document processing, OCR/ICR, tagging, extraction, summarization, sentiment analysis, RPA, and automated workflows.
• Advanced knowledge of Generative AI, Agentic AI, Microsoft Power Platform, and Copilot Studio or comparable low-code automation platforms.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams, managing multiple projects, designing processes, and working with banking domains such as deposits, loans, operations, or reporting.
• Ability to collaborate with regulatory partners including the CFPB, OCC, and FRB, and to work within IT governance and compliance frameworks.
• Advanced speaking and writing communication skills.
