Assistant Director of Nursing

Location: Onsite in Gorham, Maine, USA

What you will do

• Coordinate care on nursing units in line with applicable federal, state, local, and organizational standards.
• Maintain medical records and oversee documentation in Point Click Care.
• Monitor resident health records, incidents, falls, infections, skin issues, medication delivery errors, and other unusual occurrences.
• Support admissions, transfers, discharges, direct resident care, and nursing supervision.
• Maintain relationships with professional healthcare providers and communicate resident updates, orders, and clarifications.
• Conduct chart and log audits, maintain quality assurance parameters, and provide staff in-service education.

Requirements

• Associate degree in Nursing required; a bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• Registered Nurse certification is required.
• 5–10+ years of experience, including direct resident care and clinical nursing experience.
• Previous experience in a similar nursing leadership position.
• Acceptable fluency in English is required for speaking, reading, writing, and workplace communication.
• Excellent computer skills and experience with Point Click Care.
