What you will do

• Review joint venture operational budgets, mine production forecasts, and long-range plans.
• Validate operator mine plans to protect hirify.global’s long-term interests and value.
• Apply mining engineering principles to identify and manage operational risks and opportunities.
• Present technical findings, including potential value uplift or erosion, risks, and opportunities.
• Participate in workstream and subcommittee meetings and represent hirify.global’s interests.
• Keep the Australian Joint Venture Mining Manager and internal stakeholders informed of progress and feedback.

Requirements

• Tertiary qualification in Mining Engineering or an equivalent discipline.
• 5–7 years of mining industry experience, primarily in hard rock metalliferous open-pit operations.
• At least 2 years of operational, site-based experience, such as production planning.
• Experience with mine planning CAD and open-pit scheduling software.
• Experience in mine planning, including budgeting or long-term planning.
• Ability to source and validate data, with strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.

• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
• Corporate-level exposure to mine technical functions.
• Understanding of public reporting requirements, including SEC Mineral Resources and Reserves and JORC Mineral Resources and Ore Reserves.
