Senior Financial Analyst (Marketplace)

Location: Hybrid, based at the Santa Ana, California headquarters or Jersey City office. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Salary: $90,356–$138,140 per year, with potential eligibility for bonuses, commissions, or other compensation.

What you will do

• Partner with Marketplace operating teams to understand financial levers, performance, and key operating metrics.
• Support monthly forecasting, annual operating plans, quarterly planning cycles, and long-range planning scenarios.
• Own Marketplace GMV, revenue, and OpEx inputs for consolidated forecasts and review outputs for accuracy.
• Assemble analysis and materials for quarterly board books, executive reporting, and live performance reviews.
• Identify variance from plan and support strategic decisions involving growth investments, operational improvements, and new business opportunities.

Requirements

• 2–4 years of experience in FP&A, investment banking, investing, consulting, finance operations, or accounting, ideally in a high-growth or multi-entity environment.
• Strong knowledge of financial close cycles, forecasting, budgeting, financial planning, reporting, and variance analysis.
• Advanced Excel/Google Sheets and financial modeling skills, including driver-based models.
• Highly organized and process-driven, able to manage multiple recurring deliverables and tight deadlines.
• Comfort building with an AI-first mindset, learning new platforms, and maintaining strong data quality.
• Detail-oriented, proactive, self-directed, and willing to own recurring processes and flag improvement opportunities.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field required.

Nice to have

• Experience in consumer goods or digital marketplace businesses with meaningful operational components, such as CPG or e-commerce, and knowledge of marketplace unit economics.
• Passion for collectibles and/or sports.
