EPC Assistant Project Manager (Utility Scale Solar)

Location: Full-time onsite jobsite in Plymouth, North Carolina, with travel required

Salary: $97,767–$122,209 per year

What you will do

• Support the Project Manager with administration and management of the construction project.
• Maintain cost control ledgers and job cost statements, prepare billings, and expedite payments.
• Estimate, prepare, and negotiate change orders, including subcontract change orders.
• Set up and maintain project information in the CMiC system.
• Prepare bid packages, solicit and evaluate bids, and prepare purchase orders and rental agreements.
• Review plans and specifications, write project procedures, and supervise and train Project Engineers and clerical staff.

Requirements

• Degree in engineering, construction management, or architecture, or equivalent experience.
• Three to four years of construction experience, including field experience as a Project Engineer or Assistant Superintendent.
• At least one year of scheduling and estimating experience.
• Thorough understanding of construction plans and specifications.
• Effective written and verbal communication and strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work full-time onsite in Plymouth, NC and travel as required.

Nice to have

• One to two years of utility-scale construction experience on projects of 200 MW or above.
