HR Payroll Specialist (German Payroll)

What you will do

• Process pre-payroll activities in compliance with German labor regulations.
• Gather payroll inputs with HR and finance teams and resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain payroll documentation and records for internal and external audits.
• Manage exceptions, special cases, one-off payments, and time management reconciliations.
• Forecast payroll expenses and prepare analytical reports and dashboards for stakeholders.
• Coordinate mid-year, year-end, and cross-functional payroll submissions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, HR, or a related field.
• English proficiency at B2 level or higher.
• Experience with German payroll systems and German labor regulations.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, prioritization, and accuracy.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills with proficiency in spreadsheet software.
• Ability to collaborate with stakeholders, manage multiple deadlines, and support process improvement.
