Office Support/Sample Login Specialist - Eurofins Drinking Water and Wastewater Northeast

Location: Onsite in Ayer, Massachusetts; must live a commutable distance to Ayer, MA. Monday–Friday, 8:30 a.m.–4:30 p.m.

Salary: $20 per hour

What you will do

• Greet clients, vendors, and visitors and answer general questions.
• Collect samples from the onsite drop box, unpack shipments, and document sample receipt.
• Organize and record samples and enter data into the laboratory information management system.
• Process daily mail and small shipments of bottle kits.
• Maintain laboratory supplies, housekeeping, and safe, efficient department operations.
• Support walk-in customer service and perform other assigned duties.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment with strong computer, organizational, problem-solving, prioritization, and data-entry skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, manage moderate stress, and remain adaptable and detail-oriented.
• Professional working proficiency in English is required, including reading, writing, and speaking.
• Must be authorized to work indefinitely in the United States without restriction or sponsorship.

Nice to have

• Further education in biological or chemical science.
• Laboratory experience or exposure to the environmental industry.
• TALS experience.
