Director, Team Lead - Entertainment and Media

Location: Beverly Hills, California, United States

Salary: $160,000–$205,849 annually, plus potential annual bonuses, incentives, and restricted stock.

What you will do

• Execute the strategic plan for the Entertainment and Media Group, growing loan and deposit portfolios and improving customer retention.
• Lead Entertainment Bankers, including Relationship Managers and Portfolio Management staff, to expand market share and deepen customer relationships.
• Guide transaction pitches, term-sheet negotiations, credit structuring, customer assessments, and presentations to credit committees.
• Monitor portfolio health and proactively address deteriorating loan performance, market risks, service issues, and product adoption challenges.
• Partner with Credit Administration, Risk Management, Compliance, Loan Administration, and other internal and external support functions.
• Hire, coach, manage performance, and support the training and development of the team.

Requirements

• 8+ years of related experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Advanced to expert knowledge of commercial banking operations, including deposits, loan administration, treasury management, and related products.
• Advanced to expert knowledge of regulatory and legal compliance requirements, industry standards, commercial credit, loan structuring, and pricing dynamics.
• Experience financing at least two of the following entertainment verticals: Film/TV, Music, or Sports.
• Advanced speaking and writing communication skills; travel may be required up to 50%.
