Cost Control Engineer (Oil & Gas)

Location: Asab, Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates; onsite, full-time

What you will do

• Develop project cost control procedures, cost breakdown structures, initial budgets, and monthly manpower and cost forecasts.
• Collect and allocate actual expenditures, calculate Value of Work Done, and perform Earned Value Management for manhours and costs.
• Analyze cost variances, trends, projections, and performance indicators, including CPI and planned versus performed work.
• Prepare cost estimates for variations and claims, review subcontractor claims and invoices, and maintain cost records.
• Prepare cost reports, client billing documentation, and supporting materials for certification and payment.
• Participate in site meetings, project close-out reporting, lessons learned, and coordination with project, accounting, and control functions.

Requirements

• University degree in Engineering.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in the construction industry at a similar level.
• Essential experience in EPC Oil & Gas projects with direct involvement in Engineering, Procurement, and Construction.
• Strong communication, organization, operational mindset, and ability to perform under stressful conditions.
• Fluent English is required.
