Sr Product Development Engineer (Power Electronics)

Salary: $120,000–$135,000 per year

What you will do

• Define new products and translate market and customer requirements into technical specifications.
• Lead new product introduction activities from concept through Release-to-Production.
• Develop system test boards, test plans, and bench automation for power-system verification.
• Provide technical guidance for power-electronics system design, customer applications, and product integration.
• Create models, design tools, datasheets, evaluation boards, reference designs, and application notes.
• Deliver technical training and collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Program Management, and Design teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or an equivalent field.
• At least 5 years of experience in power-electronics design and/or applications.
• Strong analog-design, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with power-electronics design and simulation tools such as MATLAB, LTspice, SIMPLIS, Altium, Power DC, or Power SI.
• Understanding of feedback and control systems, EMI design and simulation, and high-density PCB principles.
• Ability to use laboratory equipment for power-supply characterization and present complex technical topics to varied audiences.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Experience with HDI, advanced power delivery network design, digital design, or Python-based bench automation.
