Space Planning Analyst

Location: Goodlettsville, Tennessee, United States; full-time onsite role

What you will do

• Develop accurate planograms and merchandise data for store and planogram combinations used in category strategies, line reviews, and other analyses.
• Design layouts for new and remodeled stores and create planograms for seasonal merchandise plans.
• Translate department strategies and criteria into category merchandise plans.
• Coordinate category strategy and line review sessions with client representatives and divisional merchandise managers, using analytics to optimize SKU presentation and inventory efficiency.
• Create and maintain shelf labels using space planning software and keep planogram archives and databases current.
• Provide reporting and data analysis to other departments while ensuring compliance with internal controls and Sarbanes-Oxley requirements.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED and at least one year of experience in a business-related environment; a college degree is preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
• Advanced analytical and critical-thinking skills, with strong attention to detail and organizational ability.
• Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize work, remain flexible, and meet deadlines.
• Ability to work onsite in Goodlettsville, Tennessee.

Nice to have

• Experience with JDA software systems.
• Knowledge of store-level merchandising and retail analytics.
• Accurate writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
