Associate, Fundraise Management, Liquid Credit Strategies (Credit)

Location: Los Angeles, California, Wells Fargo Center — 333 S Grand Ave, Suite 300

Salary: $125,000–$150,000 per year, plus a short-term cash incentive program.

What you will do

• Support all stages of the fundraising lifecycle for open-end liquid strategies, including high yield bonds, broadly syndicated loans, convertible bonds, emerging market equities, and global credit.
• Develop and implement fundraising strategies with leadership and Client Relationship Managers to generate investor interest and achieve fundraising objectives.
• Coordinate decisions and collaboration across diligence, marketing, client relationship management, investor relations, legal, compliance, finance, operations, and investment teams.
• Create and manage internal and external marketing materials, including talking points, sales training guides, pitchbooks, teasers, and case studies.
• Plan road shows, conferences, thought leadership initiatives, and other fundraising communications and events.
• Conduct fund, competitor, and limited-partner landscape research, while identifying issues and proactively managing risk.

Requirements

• Postgraduate degree in finance, business management, or a related discipline.
• At least 2 years of fundraising experience for public or private fund strategies; experience with credit strategies is strongly preferred.
• Understanding of limited-partner landscapes, investor preferences, styles, and requirements across regions and investor types.
• Experience with Salesforce, Seismic, eVestment, Preqin, and other sales-enablement or competitor-research tools.
• Strong fund strategy and product knowledge, with the ability to communicate fundraising approaches internally.
• Fluent written and spoken English required. Advanced PowerPoint, Word, and Excel skills are expected.
