hirify.global is a large Dallas-based law firm providing legal services across corporate, litigation, finance, healthcare, employment, real estate, intellectual property, and other practice areas.

What you will do

  • Manage the firm’s domestic and international trademark and copyright docket, including accurate and timely deadline entry.
  • Supervise trademark and copyright docketing clerks and establish standards for processing and forwarding docketed items.
  • Maintain docketing manuals, user guides, procedures, reports, and statistical analysis.
  • Coordinate with attorneys, paralegals, department leadership, and Practice Management on information requests, database quality, and system upgrades.
  • Manage transferred-file intake and docket entry, including data-quality checks and docket reports.
  • Train, mentor, develop, and evaluate staff, including annual performance reviews and performance counseling.

Requirements

  • Comprehensive knowledge of U.S. and international trademark and copyright docketing rules, procedures, and deadlines.
  • Advanced experience with intellectual property docketing systems, including ANAQUA, TESS, and international IP databases.
  • Experience in a law firm or legal environment and demonstrated supervisory experience.
  • Ability to lead strategic initiatives, implement projects, develop training programs, and manage multiple priorities with strong quality control.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, organizational and project management skills, and strong written and verbal communication.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Legal Studies, or a related field preferred; equivalent education and directly related experience may be considered.
