What you will do

• Manage product clearance activities and patent application preparation and prosecution.
• Advise business and engineering personnel on product clearance, patentability, and related intellectual property strategies.
• Lead invention mining and brainstorming sessions.
• Conduct patent clearance and patentability searches, competitor monitoring, and portions of the patent portfolio.
• Participate in IP Steering Committee meetings and support patent licensing, enforcement, and controversy matters.
• Help optimize intellectual property processes and procedures.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• Licensed to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.
• 3–5 years of experience as a patent practitioner in a law firm or corporate sehirify.globalng.
• Juris Doctorate from a nationally accredited law school and active membership in good standing with a state bar.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects in a fast-paced environment, with strong time management, organizational, communication, and advocacy skills.
• Self-motivation, ownership, and strong attention to detail; limited travel is required.
