Identity Governance & Access Management (IGA) Engineer (SailPoint)

Location: Bloomington, Illinois, United States; hybrid work

Salary: $113,200–$155,650 per year, plus eligibility for a short-term incentive plan

What you will do

• Design, implement, govern, and support enterprise identity and access management solutions using SailPoint Identity Security Cloud.
• Lead RBAC initiatives, identity governance processes, application onboarding, provisioning, and access certification activities.
• Build integrations with ServiceNow, Workday, APIs, and other enterprise platforms.
• Ensure solutions meet security, availability, capacity, resiliency, and performance requirements.
• Develop technology strategies, solution architecture artifacts, and system documentation.
• Partner with business and technology stakeholders to improve security maturity and access management practices.

Requirements

• 10+ years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of experience, education, and training.
• Strong knowledge of Identity Governance and Administration principles and enterprise security practices.
• Hands-on experience with SailPoint Identity Security Cloud or a comparable IGA platform.
• Experience with RBAC, provisioning, access certifications, access governance, and security controls in regulated and audited environments.
• Programming or scripting experience with Java, Python, or PowerShell, plus API integration and automation experience.
• Working knowledge of Active Directory, LDAP, Windows, Linux, GitLab, and cloud services; ability to mentor engineers and influence technical direction.

Nice to have

• Experience with cloud-native and serverless technologies such as Azure Functions.
• Professional certifications in identity and access management, information security, or cloud security.
• Experience developing enterprise role models and access governance frameworks.
• Experience improving mature IGA practices.
