Equity Research Analyst (Finance)

Location: Hong Kong, with working hours from 7am to 5pm

What you will do

• Monitor real-time news and communicate significant market events to traders and analysts.
• Analyze macroeconomic trends and geopolitical developments.
• Conduct detailed research into company financials.
• Build and maintain company and market databases.
• Provide timely analysis to support trading decisions.

Requirements

• Fluent Mandarin Chinese and English, including reading, writing, and speaking.
• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of relevant experience.
• Strong analytical problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
• Strong Excel skills and experience with Bloomberg or Reuters.
• Ability to follow news and market movements and understand their impact on trading.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of SQL, Python, or other programming languages.
• Prior buy-side or sell-side research experience.
