Production Trader (Quantitative Trading)

Location: New York, NY; hybrid working opportunities available

Salary: $120,000–$200,000 annual base salary in New York, plus an eligible discretionary bonus.

What you will do

• Run and monitor automated trading systems to ensure smooth operation.
• Manage book sizes and multiple trading risks.
• Price ETFs, EFPs, and BTICs.
• Propose enhancements to trading strategies and systems in collaboration with IT and quantitative teams.

Requirements

• Master’s or PhD degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or an equivalent STEM discipline.
• 3–7 years of experience in the financial industry.
• Strong background in STEM, statistical techniques, back-testing, and simulation.
• Experience with data mining and analysis of large datasets and tick data.
• Strong programming skills in Python, working knowledge of Linux, and familiarity with SQL.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment.
