Practice Applications Product Owner (GenAI)

What you will do

• Own the end-to-end lifecycle of assigned Harvey and GenAI solutions, from intake and discovery through delivery, rollout, adoption, measurement, and long-term support.
• Engage attorneys and practice groups to identify workflow pain points, assess feasibility, and define product scope.
• Maintain prioritized backlogs, roadmaps, release plans, pilot plans, user stories, workflow maps, acceptance criteria, and test plans.
• Coordinate with engineering, IT, vendors, KM, enablement, and the Harvey platform owner to deliver and expand practice solutions.
• Lead pilots and proof-of-concept efforts, including participant selection, success criteria, feedback collection, and scale-up or sunset recommendations.
• Monitor adoption, usage, support trends, time saved, data quality, user satisfaction, governance, security, confidentiality, and other business outcomes.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in product ownership, product management, legal technology, legal operations, knowledge systems, innovation, or professional services.
• Experience working with attorneys, practice groups, or other expert users to identify needs, define requirements, manage priorities, and deliver user-facing solutions.
• Experience with GenAI-enabled workflows, legal AI platforms, workflow automation, knowledge systems, document-centric products, or similar practice tools.
• Experience collaborating with engineering teams and translating stakeholder needs into implementable requirements.
• Working knowledge of security, confidentiality, access control, data handling, ethical walls, records requirements, and GenAI governance in a law firm environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, information systems, computer science, legal studies, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.

• Law firm or legal industry experience.
• JD degree.
