Sr. Revenue Accountant

Location: Denver, Colorado, United States; in-office at least 3 days per week. Travel is less than 10%. Must be eligible to work in the United States and pass a comprehensive background screening.

Salary: $94,340–$104,940 per year.

What you will do

• Manage accurate and timely client billing and revenue recognition under ASC 606 and ASC 842.
• Review data center contracts, amendments, and service orders with Finance, Sales, Legal, and Operations teams.
• Perform revenue account reconciliations, prepare journal entries, and support month-end close.
• Prepare revenue reports, analyze trends and variances, and calculate monthly utility billing.
• Support internal and external audits with schedules and documentation.
• Improve revenue recognition processes and reporting tools using ERP and financial systems while supporting customers and accounts receivable.

Requirements

• Accounting degree.
• 5+ years of revenue accounting experience, preferably in real estate and leasing.
• In-depth knowledge of US GAAP, especially ASC 606 and ASC 842.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel; NetSuite experience is desirable.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, organization, and prioritization skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and work independently with internal teams, consultants, customers, and other stakeholders.
