Revenue Accounting Analyst (Revenue Accounting)

Salary: $63,375–$88,000 per year, plus potential bonus

What you will do

• Perform revenue month-end close activities, including journal entries and reconciliations for deferred revenue and deferred warranty accounts.
• Assess customer contracts against ASC 606 and prepare technical accounting documentation.
• Track and classify product warranties as assurance-type or service-type warranties.
• Partner with Operations to source, clean, and analyze data for revenue adjustments, sales analysis, gross margin analysis, and forecasting.
• Develop and document SOX-compliant internal controls for a newly acquired division.
• Support revenue system improvements, automation testing, audit requests, and data preparation for 10-Q and 10-K filings.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and at least 3 years of revenue accounting experience.
• Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office applications.
• Familiarity with revenue recognition principles.
• CPA designation and knowledge of U.S. GAAP are preferred.
• Certain positions may require U.S. citizenship, lawful permanent residency, refugee or asylee status, or eligibility to obtain an export control license or license exception.
