What you will do

• Support and execute first-line risk programs and business-unit risk activities across multiple risk types.
• Lead objective testing for Risk and Control Self-Assessments, including planning scope, objectives, samples, and testing procedures.
• Evaluate controls, identify risks, analyze exceptions, and recommend improvements to internal controls and operational efficiency.
• Prepare working papers, process flows, review documentation, and testing conclusions in accordance with standards and protocols.
• Provide first-line consulting on risk and control issues and assist with implementing improved processes and controls.
• Communicate risk concepts, testing results, processes, and recommendations with business units and the Risk Management Department.

Requirements

• 4+ years of related experience in accounting, regulatory compliance, internal audit, risk management, operations management, or a similar financial-services field.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Intermediate knowledge of general banking operations, including deposit operations, loan administration, treasury management, or commercial banking products and services.
• Experience identifying risks and controls within business processes.
• Experience documenting process maps using process-mapping software.
