Issue Management Senior Analyst (Banking Risk)

What you will do

• Manage issue records from intake and classification through root cause analysis, corrective action planning, validation, remediation, reporting, and closure.
• Partner with business operations, risk leaders, audit, compliance, and other stakeholders to maintain consistent issue management practices.
• Apply issue severity, source, risk rating, and classification standards while maintaining complete and accurate data in Archer.
• Support Archer and Power BI dashboards, reporting logic, data feeds, and enterprise governance reports.
• Monitor aging, overdue items, extensions, and missed milestones, escalating delayed, systemic, regulatory, and high-risk issues.
• Coordinate with Archer administrators and technology teams on workflow enhancements, user acceptance testing, reporting changes, and defect resolution.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in risk management and/or internal audit, preferably in banking.
• Strong understanding of enterprise issue management, including intake, root cause analysis, corrective action planning, and closure validation.
• Experience with financial services products and services, GRC applications, and Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Strong analytical, organizational, critical thinking, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work with mid- to senior-level management and translate ambiguous issues into actionable plans.
