Molding Machine Operator - Rotational Shifts (1st, 2nd, 3rd)

Location: Aberdeen, Maryland, United States; onsite. Rotational availability is required for 1st shift (7:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m.), 2nd shift (3:00 p.m.–11:30 p.m.), and 3rd shift (11:00 p.m.–7:30 a.m.), with overtime flexibility as business needs arise.

Salary: $24.92–$28.30 per hour, based on experience.

What you will do

• Start, operate, monitor, and adjust blow molding and automated packaging equipment.
• Load materials, adjust heating and temperature controls, and handle supplies from trucks and rail cars.
• Inspect bottles throughout production and maintain product quality standards.
• Store and retrieve bottles, manage material inventories, prepare reports, and enter quality and shift data into computer systems.
• Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, cleaning, lubrication, and repairs on hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and electrical equipment.
• Maintain molds and production areas and perform other assigned duties.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of direct packaging, molding, or palletizing operator experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of production processes, mechanical equipment, operations monitoring, quality control, and basic mathematics.
• Effective written and verbal communication, active listening, reading comprehension, logical reasoning, and time-management skills.
• Basic computer knowledge, including Microsoft Office and email.
• Ability to work rotating shifts, lift up to 50 pounds, and stand or walk for up to 8 hours per shift. A resume is required.

Nice to have

• Five years of operator experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with packaging equipment, automotive mechanics, maintenance, blow molding, electrical work, or machine-shop operations.
• Experience with SAP ERP and Microsoft Office 365.
• Operations experience, preferably with a military background.
