Setter 2 - 800 D

Location: Buffalo Grove, Illinois, United States. Full-time onsite role with flexible shifts, including nights and weekends as needed. Must be eligible to work in the United States.

Salary: $24.00–$38.00 per hour

hirify.global is hiring for its Buffalo Grove production support department and legal entity.

What you will do

• Set up, adjust, operate, and maintain 800 D machinery according to production specifications and schedules.
• Perform quality checks and document machine settings, production data, and maintenance activities.
• Troubleshoot machine-related issues to minimize downtime.
• Collaborate with production colleagues to improve processes and workflow.
• Maintain a clean work area and follow safety protocols.
• Train and assist junior operators with machine operation and safety procedures.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience as a machine setter or operator, preferably with 800 D machinery or similar equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documentation and apply strong technical and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of quality control processes, manufacturing processes, machinery maintenance, and safety procedures.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Eligibility to work in the United States is required.
