Senior Inside Sales & Contracts Engineer

What you will do

• Provide responsive customer service and address customer queries within agreed timescales.
• Prepare sales quotations, pre-qualification documents, technical proposals, drawings, schematics, and other customer documentation.
• Review quotations, purchase orders, factory order confirmations, and contract documentation for accuracy.
• Track quotations, sales order promise dates, purchasing activities, supplier deliveries, and delivery performance.
• Coordinate with factories, suppliers, customers, and internal managers to resolve delivery issues and escalate risks.
• Support key-account development and new business with existing and prospective customers.

Requirements

• Typically three years of relevant customer service or inside-sales experience involving basic concepts and procedures.
• Strong communication, customer focus, multitasking, planning, time management, self-motivation, and independent working skills.
• High accuracy in data input and documentation, with the ability to use Microsoft Office and proprietary software systems.
• Clear and effective written and spoken English is required.
• Knowledge of international business, logistics practices, contractual environments, and contract-law implications.
• Good technical, mechanical, and electrical knowledge; CAD or Solid Edge experience is preferred but not mandatory.

Nice to have

• Experience with ERP systems.
• Engineering or technical qualification, or equivalent experience.
