Project Coordinator II (Biopharmaceutical Construction)

Location: Rockville, Maryland, USA. The role requires time in the office and at job sites.

What you will do

• Assist the Project Manager with small- to large-scale capital design and construction projects.
• Coordinate internal and external architects, engineers, construction managers, subcontractors, and vendors.
• Support projects involving building renovations, retrofits, and new construction.
• Manage priorities across multiple complex tasks and projects.
• Make autonomous decisions and lead coordination efforts with limited supervision.
• Oversee complex initiatives and mentor or guide junior team members.

Requirements

• Associate degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience; a bachelor's degree is advantageous.
• At least eight years of document control and project control experience, preferably in a design firm.
• Experience with traditional project controls database tools and methods.
• Intermediate to advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office and PDF software.
• Strong verbal and written communication and exceptional time-management skills.
• Advanced proficiency with project management tools or software used in construction and design projects.

Nice to have

• Experience in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or advanced technology projects.
• PMP certification or another relevant certification.
• Experience with large-scale projects valued at approximately $10 million and related documentation.
