Operations Apprentice (Data Analytics/Manufacturing): Analyzing daily operational data and production machinery data to identify bottlenecks, improve workflows, and support manufacturing operations with an accent on data management, KPI tracking, and dashboard development. Focus on building automated reports, translating technical data into actionable insights, and supporting equipment troubleshooting with engineering and project management teams.
Location: Shah Alam, Selangor, Malaysia
Employment type: Internship
Must hold a valid working permit in Malaysia.

What you will do
- Analyze daily operational data to identify process bottlenecks and efficiency gaps.
- Develop data-driven recommendations for continuous improvement and workflow optimization.
- Establish methods for collecting, cleaning, monitoring, and historically recording production machinery data.
- Support automated reports and interactive dashboards that improve operational visibility and reduce manual data entry.
- Maintain documentation, track KPIs, and support equipment troubleshooting with production and engineering leads.
- Translate technical data into actionable insights in collaboration with engineering and project management teams.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Data Analytics, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Python, SQL, and Excel.
- Experience with Tableau or Power BI and data visualization.
- Familiarity with automation concepts and dashboard development.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to interpret data and identify process bottlenecks.
- Valid Malaysian working permit required.
