Senior Data Analyst (Finance)

What you will do

• Design financial reporting, measurement, and analytics solutions for financial operations and FinTech initiatives.
• Define measurement frameworks and metric definitions, and develop complex SQL models to transform large datasets into actionable insights.
• Partner with senior Finance and FinTech stakeholders to shape strategy, prioritize analytics work, and present recommendations.
• Build dashboards and data assets using tools such as Looker and Tableau, as well as agentic solutions for root-cause analysis.
• Develop AI-powered analytics and automation, including anomaly detection, LLM-assisted insight generation, and prompt-engineered pipelines.
• Mentor junior analysts and help establish standards for AI adoption and technical development.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Finance, Statistics, Data Science, Analytics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 5+ years of data analytics experience with strong SQL, Python, data modeling, and data visualization skills.
• 3+ years supporting Finance or similar teams, including financial operations, reporting, or FinTech optimization.
• Advanced SQL experience, preferably with BigQuery or a similar data warehouse, plus experience with Looker or Tableau.
• Background in statistical analysis, experimentation, and data modeling, with experience leading or mentoring analysts.
• Strong business acumen, communication, presentation, and independent project-delivery skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with payments and financial products.
• Familiarity with dbt or Airflow.
