Associate, Private Equity

What you will do

• Target and evaluate new private equity investment opportunities.
• Build detailed financial models, including tax, accounting, debt, operational, and capital structure schedules.
• Conduct due diligence covering asset risks, cash flows, precedent transactions, comparable companies, markets, and operations.
• Research industries and assess value drivers, transaction assumptions, risks, and opportunities.
• Collaborate with operational teams, advisers, and management teams on due diligence, asset management, and corporate development transactions.
• Monitor portfolio companies and prepare investment committee presentations and supporting materials.

Requirements

• Undergraduate degree in finance, economics, business, accounting, or a related discipline.
• Two to three years of relevant investment banking experience, ideally at a top-tier global investment bank.
• Transaction execution experience across M&A, financial analysis, valuation, and corporate finance.
• Fluency in English is essential.
• Strong financial modelling, valuation, research, due diligence, communication, and organisational skills.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; ability to work across geographies and offices.

Nice to have

• Professional Korean language capability.
• Japanese language capability.
• Experience in a major international financial market, supporting global funds, or working within an integrated global investment platform.
