What you will do

• Define and evolve enterprise data loss prevention and data protection strategies across endpoint, network, email, cloud, collaboration, and SaaS environments.
• Design DLP policies, detection logic, control frameworks, escalation criteria, and implementation standards aligned with business risk and regulatory expectations.
• Provide technical authority for Broadcom/Symantec DLP, Microsoft Purview DLP, Varonis, data discovery, and data classification technologies.
• Guide engineering and operations teams in implementing, testing, tuning, and validating DLP controls and protection workflows.
• Improve detection coverage, reduce false positives, support data loss investigations, and evaluate emerging data-centric security technologies.
• Partner with Security, Risk, Audit, Privacy, Legal, Compliance, HR, Infrastructure, and business stakeholders on governance, audits, regulatory exams, and resilience initiatives.

Requirements

• 6+ years of advanced cybersecurity, security engineering, data protection, DLP, or related experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
• Leadership experience in DLP solution design, detection engineering, security engineering, or enterprise control implementation.
• Strong experience with enterprise DLP platforms, data classification, labeling, encryption, tokenization, data lifecycle management, and data movement controls.
• Advanced knowledge of SIEM, EDR/XDR, IAM telemetry, CASB/SSE, proxies, secure email gateways, cloud security monitoring, logging, APIs, JSON, and syslog.
• Hands-on scripting and automation experience with Python, PowerShell, KQL, SQL, or similar technologies, plus the ability to communicate technical risk to executive and non-technical stakeholders.

• CISSP, CISM, GIAC, SC-401, SC-200, Microsoft Sentinel, Microsoft Defender, Security+, GSEC, GCIH, GCIA, or GCFA certification.
