Major nuclear new-build project in the United Kingdom, currently in pre-operational testing and commissioning. The scope covers valve reception, pre-commissioning checks, calibration, tightness testing, fault diagnosis, and rework on new equipment.

What you will do

  • Prepare valve intervention dossiers, including Work Order Packages and applicable operating procedures.
  • Track document validation workflows and maintain the list of applicable documents.
  • Create and manage required deviations and concessions.
  • Coordinate with the contractor, employer, OEMs, and the Office for Nuclear Regulation when required.
  • Support valve preparation activities in compliance with HSE, quality, and environmental requirements.

Requirements

  • Vocational qualification such as Bac Pro, NVQ Level 3, or equivalent, with at least 5 years of experience in a technical environment; alternatively, a technical Bachelor’s degree or Bac+2 in mechanics, valve engineering, or a related field with 2–3 years of relevant experience.
  • Fluent English is required for on-site work, written documentation, and interaction with the UK nuclear safety authority.
  • Ability to work on-site in the UK during a long-term mobilisation.
