Senior Data Engineer (AWS, Azure, GCP): Building and maintaining modern data pipelines, data warehouses, and data lake solutions for client data systems with an accent on cloud platforms, distributed data processing, and sustainable data architecture. Focus on designing scalable ingestion and processing systems, integrating ETL and orchestration technologies, and providing technical leadership across engineering teams.
Location: Charlotte, NC, USA. Employees must be available to work onsite at a client location or office as requested; remote work is allowed when compatible with client and company needs.

What you will do
- Advise clients on best practices, methodologies, and technologies for data engineering solutions.
- Design, implement, and maintain modern data pipelines using appropriate cloud technologies.
- Analyze customer requirements with product owners and business subject-matter experts.
- Provide technical leadership and align solutions with customer needs across teams.
- Monitor cloud technology trends and share technical knowledge with stakeholders and colleagues.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience delivering cloud-based data engineering solutions.
- Experience building and operating highly available distributed systems for extracting, ingesting, and processing large datasets.
- Advanced proficiency with at least one ETL or data orchestration technology, such as Azure Data Factory, SSIS, Informatica, Alteryx, Ab Initio, Pentaho, Talend, or Matillion.
- Experience with cloud data warehouses and data lakes, including Snowflake, Redshift, or Databricks.
- 5+ years of experience with SQL or NoSQL databases and at least one programming language, such as Python, Java, R, C, C#, C++, or Shell.
- Applicants must be authorized to work directly for any employer in the United States without visa sponsorship.
Nice to have
- Cloud certification on any platform.
- Familiarity with DevOps tools such as Git, Jenkins, CI/CD, or Jira.
- Experience mentoring data engineers and understanding big data, open-source, and data-streaming concepts.
