Senior Cloud Data Engineer (AWS)

Location: Quincy, Massachusetts (Hybrid)

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain AWS-based enterprise data platforms and scalable data pipelines.
• Architect centralized and decentralized data solutions, including Data Mesh architectures.
• Build data ingestion, transformation, integration, and ETL/ELT workflows using Snowflake, Informatica IICS, SQL, Python, and Airflow.
• Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to define and implement data engineering solutions.
• Lead solution design sessions, architecture reviews, technical discussions, and technical leadership for data engineering teams.
• Implement data governance, metadata management, security, HIPAA compliance, monitoring, optimization, and troubleshooting.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering, data warehousing, data architecture, ETL, and enterprise data platforms.
• 3–5 years of AWS experience and 5+ years of Snowflake experience.
• Strong SQL and Python development skills, with experience building end-to-end data pipelines.
• Experience with Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services, Airflow, GitHub, CI/CD, Unix/Linux, and shell scripting.
• Experience with large-scale, multi-terabyte cloud data platforms and system, database, networking, and storage architectures.
• Experience with healthcare data and HIPAA compliance requirements.

Nice to have

• AWS, Snowflake, or cloud data engineering certifications.
• Tableau or Power BI experience.
• Advanced Informatica IICS expertise.
• Public health or healthcare industry experience.
