What you will do

• Manage quantity and cost control workflows for mechanical pipeline activities in coordination with engineering, procurement, construction, contracts, and cost control teams.
• Identify project risks from contract documents, schedules, and deliverables, and prepare fortnightly risk reports and mitigation plans.
• Develop cost-controlled solutions for contractor claims and advise management on commercial and project risks.
• Cross-check material take-offs against AFC drawings, reconcile materials released to subcontractors, and update procurement requirements.
• Support tie-ins, pre-shutdown and shutdown activities, material requisition packages, field changes, site variations, test packs, and as-built requirements.
• Implement IWP, WFP, and AWP methodologies to support milestone-based project execution.

Requirements

• On-site work in Habshan, Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.
• Senior-level experience in pipeline quantity surveying, with 5–10 years of overall experience; the stated job level indicates 7–9 years.
• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience with oil and gas projects, including pipeline projects; EPC or EPCM ADNOC project experience is advantageous.
• Practical knowledge of pipeline construction, design methods, material scheduling, multidisciplinary coordination, and quantity and cost control.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and AutoCAD for material control and reading alignment sheet drawings, plus report writing and communication skills.
