Equipment & Process Engineer (Manufacturing)

Location: Subang Jaya, Malaysia; full-time onsite position

Work on manufacturing processes and equipment for new electromechanical products at hirify.global.

What you will do

• Develop and adapt production processes for assembly, calibration, and testing.
• Define production equipment specifications and coordinate with in-house mechanization teams and external equipment suppliers.
• Support global new product development teams, sample lines, process development equipment, and successful product launches.
• Collaborate with design, quality, program management, marketing, suppliers, and contract manufacturers on process, product, and quality specifications.
• Review designs, debug, qualify, and select high-volume assembly and test equipment, tooling, and potentially injection molding machines.
• Support improvement projects focused on cycle time, defects, manufacturing costs, process capability, and equipment continuity.

Requirements

• University degree, such as a bachelor's degree, or equivalent relevant experience.
• Experience handling multiple competing tasks in a fast-paced environment and working effectively as part of a team.
• Strong oral, written, presentation, organization, planning, and time-management skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
• Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills for working with all organizational levels, suppliers, and external customers.
• High personal and professional ethical standards, integrity, and accountability for results.
