What you will do

• Design manufacturing methods, operation sequences, processes, layouts, and tooling requirements for parts, subassemblies, and final assemblies.
• Implement production standards and develop cost estimates, capacity models, and recommendations for tooling and process requirements.
• Develop and review factory performance indicators and provide recommendations to factory management.
• Collaborate with management, internal teams, and outsourced manufacturing and development partners on processes, standards, compliance, and manufacturing issues.
• Coordinate problem-resolution recommendations and contribute to project teams delivering reliable, cost-effective, high-quality manufacturing solutions.
• Prepare current-state analyses and written reports using research and data analysis while ensuring regulatory compliance.

Requirements

• Four-year or graduate degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent demonstrated competence.
• Typically 2–4 years of experience in engineering design and solutions or a related field, or an advanced degree with little or no work experience.
• Knowledge of manufacturing engineering, manufacturing processes, tooling, lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, and process improvement.
• Experience or knowledge in data analysis, capacity modeling, automation, new product development, and project management.
• Ability to work independently on moderate-scope problems and communicate effectively with internal and external partners.

Nice to have

• Six Sigma certification.
• APICS certification.
• Knowledge of Python, Agile methodology, supply chain, systems engineering, or software engineering.
