Assistant Operations Director (Retail)

What you will do

• Support five-year capital planning, condition assessments, capital budgets, and property asset enhancement.
• Conduct daily property inspections, address operational issues, and maintain safe, reliable facility operations.
• Manage preventive and predictive maintenance, repairs, construction activities, cleaning services, purchasing, and asset inventory.
• Develop scopes of work and requests for proposals, evaluate bids, oversee contractors, inspect completed work, and manage service-agreement closeout documentation.
• Coordinate tenant construction, permitting support, opening schedules, facility concerns, and communication with tenants, civic leaders, security, and local officials.
• Develop staff, complete performance reviews, manage the Manager-on-Duty rotation, and respond to emergencies when required.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• At least three years of experience in facility or maintenance operations.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, CAD drawings, engineering drawings, and schematic diagrams.
• Effective oral and written communication, computer proficiency, and experience with Microsoft Office.
• Ability to prioritize multiple projects and solve problems promptly.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
