Site Supervisor, Life Science

Location: Lawrenceville, New Jersey, United States

Salary: $50,000–$55,000 per year

What you will do

• Coordinate daily activities within the assigned life science program and perform employee duties as needed.
• Train, supervise, instruct, and evaluate employees on tasks, safety policies, and procedures.
• Conduct quality, service, sanitation, and safety inspections, including OSHA compliance checks and PPE monitoring.
• Prepare pass-down, weekly, and monthly reports and maintain training, inspection, attendance, and metrics records.
• Track equipment maintenance, repairs, supplies, and inventory.
• Report personnel and customer issues, correct at-risk behavior, and recommend corrective actions.

Requirements

• Six months to one year of related experience and/or training, plus a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Knowledge of database, internet, spreadsheet, and word-processing software.
• Good written and verbal communication, customer service, training, coaching, problem-solving, presentation, and time-management skills.
• Ability to understand safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, and write routine reports.
• A valid driver’s license and forklift certification may be required.
• Ability to lift or move up to 35 pounds and work Monday through Friday from 1:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.

Nice to have

• Bilingual Spanish communication skills.
• Experience using forklifts and pallet jacks.
