OM Project Manager I (Order Management)

What you will do

• Lead order-related projects from initiation through completion, tracking milestones, deliverables, schedules, risks, and contingency plans.
• Manage assigned customer orders, including order validation, design changes, approval drawings, customer files, and submittal documentation.
• Coordinate with Sales, Finance, engineering, manufacturing, and other departments to resolve technical and scheduling issues.
• Communicate proactively with internal and external customers and support customer and order activity.
• Coordinate invoicing, payment follow-up, and performance bond requests with Finance.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and execute plans for global manufacturing efforts.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related discipline.
• 1–2 years of project management or customer service experience.
• Technical aptitude and demonstrated ability to resolve issues independently.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Expertise with Microsoft Office tools, including Word and Excel.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Nice to have

• Working knowledge of JD Edwards.
• 1–2 years of experience in an operational manufacturing role.
• Previous experience in the power industry.
