Senior Project Manager

Location: Austin, TX, United States; onsite, full-time

Construction services company delivering large and complex construction projects.

What you will do

• Manage multiple or large, complex construction projects through completion and close-out.
• Estimate project costs, establish budgets and contract prices, and maintain cost control.
• Negotiate subcontractor agreements, material purchases, and subcontract bid packages.
• Set up project procedures, coordinate procurement and submittals, and maintain project schedules.
• Lead project teams, coordinate with owners, architects, superintendents, and subcontractors, and organize project meetings.
• Maintain quality and safety standards, document significant project events, mitigate claims, and complete warranty follow-up.

Requirements

• Degree in engineering, construction management, or architecture, or equivalent experience.
• 8–10 years of field construction management experience, including supervisory responsibilities.
• Leadership, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
• Drafting and computer skills.
• Fundamental knowledge of contract law and project accounting.
• Thorough understanding of scheduling, cost control, procurement, estimating, and other project management control systems.
