Location: Field-based; candidates must reside within the assigned Atlanta territory and within reasonable driving distance of a major commercial airport. Frequent regional and national travel is required.
Salary: $190,000–$225,000 USD base pay annually.

develops therapeutics targeting muscle and the central nervous system to improve function for people living with genetically driven neuromuscular diseases, including Duchenne muscular dystrophy and myotonic dystrophy type 1.
What you will do
- Support patients and caregivers throughout the treatment journey through individualized disease, therapy, treatment-expectation, storage, handling, and administration education.
- Identify patient support needs and coordinate resources to address access, adherence, and continuity-of-care barriers.
- Educate patients, caregivers, healthcare providers, and infusion centers on reimbursement processes, prior authorizations, appeals, denials, reauthorizations, and site-of-care requirements.
- Build relationships with healthcare providers, office staff, infusion partners, HUB services, and specialty pharmacies across the assigned geography.
- Support infusion-center readiness and coordinate therapy initiation, infusion scheduling, insurance changes, site-of-care transitions, and treatment interruptions.
- Document activities accurately, escalate access issues, and report adverse events, product complaints, and privacy incidents in accordance with company requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing, social work, or a related healthcare field preferred; RN, Social Worker, or equivalent healthcare experience preferred.
- 8+ years of healthcare or related experience, including 5+ years in patient services, reimbursement, case management, field education, specialty pharmacy, or care coordination.
- Working knowledge of payer coverage, reimbursement pathways, prior authorizations, appeals, denials, and access processes.
- Ability to build relationships with patients, caregivers, healthcare providers, infusion centers, and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Strong communication, organization, problem-solving, accountability, and judgment in urgent or complex patient situations.
- Ability to travel extensively within the assigned geography, up to 50–80%, and support patient and provider needs outside standard business hours when required.
