Med Tech (Certified) Per Diem

Compensation: Up to $26.00 per hour

What you will do

• Administer or assist with self-administration of prescribed medications under RN or LPN supervision.
• Maintain accurate medication records and written documentation.
• Provide care according to each resident’s care plan.
• Observe and report changes in residents’ physical condition, cognition, and emotional status.
• Protect residents’ comfort, privacy, and dignity while delivering services.

Requirements

• Successful completion of Medication Technician training and periodic competency testing.
• Ability to administer medications in accordance with state regulations.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least six months of experience working with seniors in personal care, home health, hospital, or long-term care.
• Strong communication skills and knowledge of HIPAA policies.
• Availability to work weekends and holidays; ability to stand, walk, and lift or carry up to 50 lbs.
