Senior DevOps Engineer (Docker/Kubernetes)

Location: Budapest, Pécs, Debrecen, or Szeged, Hungary. Remote work is available only within Hungary due to European taxation regulations.

What you will do

• Set up and manage containerized environments for backend services on the CaaS@DTIT platform.
• Implement and improve CI/CD pipelines and automation.
• Deploy, operate, and maintain reliable services and application components.
• Implement monitoring and logging solutions to ensure system stability, performance, and observability.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders while considering requirements from external partners.
• Support feature implementation, component refinement, testing, and technical documentation.

Requirements

• Proven experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools.
• Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with monitoring and logging solutions such as Prometheus, Grafana, or the ELK Stack.
• Proficiency in Python or another scripting language.
• English at B2 level.

Nice to have

• Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Familiarity with API gateways, service mesh technologies, container orchestration, or CaaS solutions.
• Knowledge of database administration, data management, security best practices, and compliance requirements.
• Experience in agile and DevOps-driven environments.
• Background in backend systems development or microservices architecture.
