TL;DR
DevOps Engineer (Kubernetes/CI/CD): Building, maintaining, and optimizing CI/CD pipelines, Kubernetes infrastructure, and supporting Linux-based platform services with an accent on containerization, virtualization, networking, and observability. Focus on automating infrastructure provisioning, improving deployment reliability, and applying security and DevSecOps best practices.
Location: Hybrid, Bratislava, Slovakia
Salary: from €2,700 gross per month, with a performance bonus of up to 10% of the basic salary paid twice per year.

What you will do
- Design, maintain, and improve CI/CD pipelines for internal projects.
- Deploy and manage Kubernetes clusters, Docker images, and container registries.
- Operate virtualized environments and support networking, connectivity, load balancing, and service exposure.
- Implement infrastructure provisioning with Infrastructure as Code tools.
- Manage Prometheus, Grafana, and other monitoring and observability systems.
- Administer Linux systems, support platform services, and collaborate with development and IT teams on secure, reliable deployments.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience in DevOps or a similar role.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as GitLab CI or Jenkins.
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of Kubernetes administration and application deployment.
- Solid Linux system administration skills and experience with Docker and container technologies.
- Basic networking knowledge, including TCP/IP, DNS, load balancing, and troubleshooting.
- Understanding of security standards and best practices; English at B1 level or higher is required for technical communication.
Nice to have
- Experience with KVM or other virtualization technologies.
- Familiarity with Terraform, Ansible, Prometheus, Grafana, or Zabbix.
- Knowledge of AAA systems such as AD or FreeIPA and Atlassian products such as Jira or Confluence.
- Experience operating Kafka, relational databases, monitoring backends, or other platform services.
