Consultant, Finance Systems - SAP FI (APAC)

What you will do

• Analyze finance and controlling business processes and translate requirements into functional specifications.
• Design and configure SAP FICO modules, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting, cost accounting, profit center accounting, internal orders, and WBS elements.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to integrate SAP FICO with other SAP modules and third-party applications.
• Conduct system testing, prepare test scenarios, and support end-to-end testing.
• Develop training materials, educate end users, and provide post-implementation support.
• Participate in project planning and estimation while proposing improvements based on SAP best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of hands-on experience implementing and supporting SAP FICO modules.
• In-depth knowledge of SAP FICO configuration, integration, and customization.
• Strong understanding of financial accounting and controlling principles and processes.
• Experience with business process analysis, requirements gathering, solution design, and complex issue resolution.
• Proficiency in banking integration, host-to-host bank connections, BCM, and APM; basic knowledge of Contract Accounting is advantageous.

Nice to have

• SAP FICO certifications.
• Basic understanding of the Contract Accounting module.
