TL;DR
IT Consultant - SAP Finance (f/m/d) (SAP FI/CO): Designing and configuring SAP FI/CO solutions while improving end-to-end finance processes with an accent on automation, controls, and integration. Focus on leading Fit-to-Standard and Fit-Gap workshops, coordinating S/4HANA transformation projects, and delivering AI/ML-enabled finance use cases through testing, go-live, and hypercare.
Location: Pinerolo, Italy
Minimum gross annual salary: €50,000

What you will do
- Analyze finance requirements and design SAP FI/CO target processes with global process owners, shared services, and local finance teams.
- Lead Fit-to-Standard and Fit-Gap workshops across Record-to-Report, Order-to-Cash, Purchase-to-Pay, and controlling processes.
- Own SAP Finance solution design and configuration, including integration with adjacent SAP modules and external platforms.
- Drive finance automation using workflow orchestration, RPA, OCR, e-invoicing, reconciliation automation, and AI/ML use cases.
- Manage projects and workstreams with IT teams, external partners, and system integrators.
- Lead SIT/UAT, cutover, go-live, hypercare, ongoing support, continuous improvement, and team mentoring.
Requirements
- Degree in business administration, finance, information systems, or a related field.
- 5–10 years of professional experience in SAP Finance and Controlling, including multiple end-to-end project lifecycles.
- Experience with finance automation, workflow tools, RPA, e-invoicing, reconciliation automation, closing acceleration, and touchless processing.
- Familiarity with AI/ML finance use cases such as predictive accounting, anomaly detection, intelligent matching, forecasting, and exception handling.
- Strong knowledge of finance and controlling processes, internal controls, compliance, stakeholder management, and consulting communication.
- Fluent English is required; Italian is highly desirable.

- SAP certifications and project management credentials.
- Experience with S/4HANA transformations.
