Director of Financial Aid

Location: Tempe, Arizona, USA; on-site at the corporate office with regular in-person attendance up to 5 days per week.

What you will do

• Award state and federal financial aid to eligible students in accordance with regulations and institutional policy.
• Process verification, disbursements, and Return of Title IV calculations.
• Manage Federal COD processing, reconciliation, and reporting for Direct Loans and Pell Grants.
• Maintain default management activities, including weekly CDR reports, exit procedures, CampusVue loan records, and NSLDS updates.
• Conduct internal file audits, run integrity reports, and troubleshoot CampusVue exports/imports and COD issues.
• Coordinate with financial aid leadership and other departments while supporting back-office and front-office staff as needed.

Requirements

• 5+ years of financial aid experience.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Experience with CampusVue preferred.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Strong customer service, organizational, multitasking, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Regular, in-person on-site attendance is required, up to 5 days per week.
