Draftsman (Piping) (Oil & Gas)

What you will do

• Prepare piping layout drawings, piping plans, isometrics, fabrication drawings, and as-built drawings.
• Convert engineering sketches, redline markups, and design changes into detailed CAD drawings.
• Update drawings for site conditions, engineering revisions, client comments, and site modifications.
• Ensure drawings comply with ADNOC standards, project specifications, and applicable international codes.
• Coordinate with piping engineers, technical office engineers, construction teams, and document control.
• Maintain drawing registers, revision control, document tracking, filing, and handover documentation.

Requirements

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Piping, Drafting, Design Technology, or an equivalent qualification.
• At least 5 years of experience as a Piping Draftsman on Oil & Gas or EPC projects.
• Strong knowledge of piping systems, layout design, fabrication drawings, piping materials, supports, valves, and installation practices.
• Ability to interpret P&IDs, isometric drawings, piping plans, GA drawings, engineering documents, and specifications.
• AutoCAD proficiency is mandatory.
• Understanding of Oil & Gas piping construction practices and strong attention to drawing accuracy.

Nice to have

• Experience with ADNOC or GCC Oil & Gas projects.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD Plant 3D, Navisworks, or equivalent 3D tools.
